JAP a.k.a. Juhász-Ajtai-Porteleki Trio plays classical and early music pieces in an improvisational style, transforming strictly-written classical music forms into contemporary music. Singer Orsi Juhász comes from the classical scene, while Áron Porteleki (drums) and Petya Ajtai (double bass) are a rhythm section rooted in contemporary music and free jazz. JAP is their musical playground for re-imagining, re-interpreting and re-experiencing music from the distant past.

This recording is a full performance, recorded on 7th March 2020 at Lumen, Budapest.

This is the first release on Prepost Records' "Prepost Pirate Live Series"
